Impression which I feel from LG print ads is related with one of the Seven Principles of Visual Literacy, visuals can create a powerful illusion of reality. When I see these ads I think LG approach customers gently and covey its elegant image implicitly. It make customers think their life which use LG products and services is an art like pictures in ads. This feeling coveyed to customers is made and intended by company. Although people use LG products and services, if there are not practical and fundamental changes in their life there are no elegant life like arts. However using arts can give illusion of reality that people can live feeling what they imagine from arts.
This ad use great arts which almost everyone know what it is. This means they do not acquire any expert and high level backgrounds, knowledge so these ads can approach customers and give what they want to say to people easily. I think easy giving their intention is important in public ads.
I think the target audience of this ad is all people who are exposed to this ad. LG is the company that produce almost every thing related with routines and this ad is not for only one product but the image that LG gives to customers.
This ad give the image that using LG and LG brands in your life is arts implicitly and giving positive image is area beyond just advertising that motivate people to buy and use its products, services. Once people have the image on things it can’t be changed easily and it acquire much money, effort and time. So I think this is one successful print ad step by LG.
